About this site

I know many of my visitors are new to the field of nanotube and nanotechnology. So I try to give general information as much as my time allows. You will find some introductions on nanostructures which is mostly the first chapter on my PhD Thesis.

You will also find the description of some of my work on nanotubes which is separated in 3 projects:

• BN nanotube synthesis by non-ablative (low-power) laser method
• Related analysis and in particular electron diffraction
• Temperature-gradient induced growth

Those projects started with my PhD thesis. (Thanks to the already several hundred people who requested it!) But recently electron diffraction and temperature-gradient induced growth were published as independant articles. (Some raw ideas seem to have found a formalism at last...)

Since then, I led other projects, but I did not find the time to describe them here...
